Product Description

This product is formulated with water-based acrylic modified alkyd resin, special pigments, and related additives. It does not contain harmful organic solvents and does not add rust-proof pigments with high heavy metal content.

Recommended Applications

It is suitable for use with compatible water-based primers, providing good protective effects in lightly corrosive environments. It exhibits excellent outdoor weather resistance, moisture resistance, and abrasion resistance.

Coating Requirements

Pretreatment of steel components: Remove impurities and oil stains from the surface of the equipment. Oil stains can be removed with cleaning agents. If there are corrosive salts such as phosphates, they should be washed away with clean water and dried with compressed air. Sandblasting should be used to remove oxide scale, rust, and other impurities, followed by cleaning the steel surface with compressed air  (Sand blasting and rust removal grade reached SA2.5).

If sandblasting is not available, manual rust removal can be used. Grind and remove rust from the surface of the substrate using a grinding machine and iron brush until the surface is free of rust and impurities. Then clean it with compressed air. Ensure that the surface of the equipment is free of moisture, dust, oil stains, and impurities. After pretreatment, apply the primer as soon as possible to prevent rust formation after rain.

Since water-based coatings are prone to flow away from sharp edges and corners, forming a "edge effect," it is necessary to smooth the edges and corners and apply a pre-coating in a timely manner to protect them from corrosion.
